Teerenpeli was established in 1995 as a beer Brewery and it has 5 brewery restaurants in cities across Finland. The Distillery was established in 2002 and distils its whisky in traditional copper pot stills manufactured in Scotland, using pure Finnish barley malt and fresh groundwater from the Salpausselkä ridge. Created during the ice age some 10,000 years ago, the Salpausselkä esker forms an efficient natural filter that produces groundwater of such purity that it can be enjoyed as it is, without further purification. This water is renowned for its clarity and freshness.
Teerenpeli Single Malt 10 yo is the first Finnish 10 yo whisky. Pale yellow, medium full bodied, warm, waffle notes, fruity, cream toffee notes, spicy, light oak notes, balanced. The palate is oily, rich and smooth with a bit of toasted sugar.
