Pâtisserie du Vin ( or Pastry Wine ), is a brand of wines from France, rich and fruity and draws on the Tarte Tatin – a traditional French upside down apple tart, as its inspiration.
Grape: 80% Chardonnay and 20% Muscat
Origin: Badet Clement, France
Colour: Pale straw
Bouquet: Baked apple, pineapple, butter, cream and toasty vanilla
Taste: It has a taste of rounded melon, roses and lychee and reminiscent of table grapes. On the palate it is low in acidity and soft.
Ideally wine to salads, vegetarian food, savoury snacks, oriental food, thai dishes and apple sauce. Also excellent as an aperitif.
