Por todo mal…Mezcal…Por todo bien…tambien!
Mezcal is a distilled spirit made from the fermented heart of the agave and comes from Oaxaca, a state in southern Mexico. In the last years bartenders around the world started using mezcal in their cocktails more often, even though it was supposed to be difficult to be mixed. Mezcal can be smoky as Islay scotch or can have just a hint of smoke on the finish, can be drank neat or you can use it in a cocktail.
Mezcapporita is a creation by Moises Galarza, from the time he was working in Gabriela’s Restaurante. It is a delicious, savoury, super simple mezcal cocktail that you′ll love to enjoy at home. Mellowing the smoke and agave notes of the Fidencio Mezcal and tempering the ginger liqueur, this cocktail turned out to be very light, fruity and refreshing with a smoked kick from the mezcal.
