Domaine Bousquet Gaia

Made from organic grapes sourced mainly from vineyards in Tupungato at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level, this wine is elegant and modern in style, a nice blend of Malbec, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon is brimming with plush flavors of dark fruits, blackberry, currant, black cherries and silky smooth tannins.
Domain Bousquet started in 1998 in Tupungato, the premium sub-region of Mendoza. The area has phenomenal climatic conditions. One of the key factors for a vineyard in Argentina is the altitude, and the Bousquet vines sit at 1,200 metres above sea level. This means the vines get the full benefit of the South American sun during the day, but the temperatures drop quickly at night, which maintains the acidity in the grapes, increases the aromatics, and prevents the fruit flavours from becoming too ‘jammy’.
